Well, the generally accepted definition for fantasy is a story with midieval characteristics, magic, and adventure, with a large dosage of imagination. However, everybody may not agree with this. What do you think a sotry needs to have to be considered a fantasy? And what qualities in a fantasy do you enjoy the most?

Fantasy is getting in a anime, i mean actully being in one, lets say i got in .hack\\sign anime & put on some of those glasses & play ^_^

*agree* I think fantasy is something we WISH would happen, or was real. But that would be so cool though I do have the .hack game -^^-

fantasy to me is something that allows my imagination to take flight like a favorite book or movie and i like the genre i used to read piers anthony and the like anne mccaffery etc
